NYT Spelling Bee is an independent game and is not affiliated with or endorsed by The New York Times. “NYT Spelling Bee” is used descriptively to explain the puzzle format.

Use of the site

You may play the game for personal, non-commercial use. Do not attempt to disrupt the API, bypass access controls, or present this site as an official New York Times product.

Availability and accuracy

Puzzles, word lists, ranks, and archive dates may change as the service is maintained. The game is provided as-is; we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that every word list matches another edition.
